Together with fellow-libero Myrthe Schoot, Knip competes for the number one libero in the starting six. She is one of the few Dutch players of the national team that still plays in the Netherlands, at Sliedrecht Sport. Two years ago she made her debut at age 19 in a friendly match against France. Knip was part of the team that reached the Final Four of the European League.
She has been capped 49 times up till now (07-04-2014). The blond libero started her career at Madjoe in 2002.
