Kimberly Hill of the United States headlined the Dream Team for the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship Italy 2014.
Hill was named the most valuable player and Second Best Outside Spiker of the tournament. She totalled 159 points during the course of the 13 matches in the World Championship and averaged 3.61 points per set in the 44 sets USA played.
USA teammate Alisha Glass was selected as Best Setter while China’s Ting Zhu was named Best Outside Spiker and Junjing Yang as Second Best Middle Blocker. Brazil’s Thaisa picked up the Best Middle Blocker award with Sheilla named Best Opposite. Monica DeGennaro of Italy completed the list as Best Libero.
The MVP received $30,000 in prize money while each of the members of the Dream Team were awarded $10,000 each.
