Femke joined the Dutch National Team at the Montreux Volley Masters in 2010. She is a tall, young setter with an amazing blocking talent. She has been picked as the number one setter by coach Guido vermeulen since the summer of 2013. In 2012 she played her first EC, held in Germany, and she’ll be playing her first WC this year. She missed out on the last WC because of a fracture in her little finger. Up to 07-04-2014 she has been capped 85 times.

Stoltenborg currently plays for Alemannia Aachen, together with Dutch National Team-colleague Yvon Beliën.
