The captain of the team Strashimira Filipova is one of the most prominent Bulgarian middle blockers. She has very long and successful career as a captain of the Bulgarian National team. As a former player of the Bulgarian teams CSKA and Slavia she continued her professional carrier in one of the strongest team in Russia - Uralochka Ekaterinburg. After two successful years with this club she went to play in another club from the Russian Super league - Fakel Novij Urengoj. The next season she will meet a new challenge with the club in Azerbaijan - Azeryol Baku.
