22 year old Robin de Kruijf made her debut in the Dutch national team in the Dutch opening match of the Montreux Volley Masters against Cuba in June 2008. The brown haired middle-blocker has been capped 191 times (07.04.2014) i and is one of the best known faces of the Dutch team. De Kruijf was present at two World Grand Prixs, the last two European Championships, the World Championship of 2010 and made her debut in the European League last year.
De Kruijf currently plays in Italy with Nordmeccanica Piacenza. She started playing volleyball with one of the bigger Dutch clubs, Taurus in Houten in 2002.
