Women's World Championship welcomes Anti-Doping Outreach Programme

 

The FIVB Play Clean Outreach Programme at the Women's World Championship will take place in Bari

Bari, Italy, September 24, 2014 - FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship host city Bari will welcome an FIVB Play Clean Anti-Doping Outreach Programme, organised in collaboration with the Federazione Medico Sportiva Italiana (FMSI) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), from September 27-28. The programme is aimed at players, medical and technical staff, team managers and coaches.

The Play Clean programme exists to educate participants in matters related to anti-doping. Participants will be encouraged to use a WADA e-learning tool and complete a quiz. They will also be able to put their questions to Medical Delegate Dr. Annie Peytavin and to representatives of the Federazione Medico Sportiva Italiana. 

The programme will take place at the players' hotels in Bari this weekend.
