Rome, Italy, September 23 2014 - Italy started its FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship on winning note, defeating Tunisia 3-0 on Tuesday in Rome’s Pool A.
Tunisia Captain Brik Mariem: “We have tried to defend and we have played in the best way possible. We have defended until the end. We will try to play better the next match.”
Italy Captain Francesca Piccinini: “It was the first match in this FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship, it was a difficultmatch. We have played with heart, coach Bonitta asked to play over each point. We have to think match to match.”
Tunisia Coach Brik Mohamed Messelmani: “We have to do experience, we need to do experience, and these are important matches, we have played against a team that have very experience in these competition. We have tried to do things in the best way.”
