We are here to learn, and we are learning, says Kazakhstan coach Gutor

National pride: Gutor's is the first Kazakh team in the second round of an international competition

Modena, Italy, October 4, 2014 - Bulgaria was simply too strong for Kazakhstan in a FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2014 Pool F match, winning 3-0.

Oleksandr Gutor, Kazakhstan coach: “These games are important for our growth as a team, playing against the greatest really speeds it up. It is the World Championship, we must remember it. We are here to learn, and be a better team next time."

Korinna Ishimtseva, Kazakhstan captain: “We knew it was going to be difficult, as usual in a World Championship. We just keep trying to represent Kazakhstan in a good way around the World. The technical gap between us and the Bulgarians is still very big, but we are working on it."

Vladimir Kuzyutkin, Bulgaria coach: “The team was perfect today, very disciplined and effective. It’s too bad that Dobriana Rabadzhieva has sustained a shoulder injury in the final part of the match. We will miss her tomorrow against the Netherlands, but will try to win anyway."

Strashmira Filipova, Bulgaria captain: “I was really happy for the best player award. I and my teammates, we were in really good shape. Tomorrow against the Netherlands we will play for pride and for a positive final ranking. The atmosphere was really beautiful in Modena, with so many fans watching our matches."
