Vande Broek: I'm really satisfied

 

Belgium coach Gert Vande Broek enjoys the moment of victory.

Bari, Italy, September 24, 2014 - Belgium coach Gert Vande Broek was pleased with his team's 3-0 victory over Cuba in the last pool D match on Tuesday at the 2014 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship.
Belgium coach Gert Vande Broek: The first match is always very hard but I'm really satisfied with the fighting spirit of my team. We have undertaken the first target and the match fulfilled my expectations.
Belgium captain Charlotte Leys: We have won against Cuba. We played good volleyball and the key to our victory has certainly been receiving and service. We have gotten off to a great start.
Cuba coach Juan Carlos Gala: We have to improve fundamentals. I am sure that the team will try their utmost starting from tomorrow
Cuba captain Sulian Matienza: Unfortunately, we were very tired because of the delay due to unexpected stopover in Paris airport.
