The “World Champs of Oratories” lands in Milan

Milan, Italy, September 4, 2014 – Milan will host the “World
Championships of the Oratories”, a "miniature" of the big
international tournament, organized by the Local Organising Committee of Milan
in collaboration with the Centro Sportivo Italiano. The “World Championships of
the Oratories” will be held on Friday,
September 5 at the Centro Pavesi Via De Lemene 3. It will involve 24 youth
teams representing as many speakers in the diocese of Milan: each team will be associated
with one of 24 national participants at the FIVB Women’s World Championship,
and all will play during the day in a "parallel" tournament with a lot
of entertainment and fun.

The drawing of lots of the first phase of the “World Championships
of Oratories” was made on Tuesday, September 2, each of the participating teams
was matched to one of the national qualified for the FIVB Women’s World Championships
and will play with a special jersey with the colors of the nation, which the
team it’s matched. The winner of the tournament, along with the other
finalists, will win the free entry to one date of the FIVB Women’s World
Champonships.
