For the Netherlands players a good bonding was key to winning
Verona, Italy, September 24, 2014 - Netherlands said they were satisfied with their team performance that lead to a 3-0 victory over Thailand in the last match of the day in Pool C at PalaOlimpia on Wednesday.
Netherlands coach: “We are happy, it wasn't easy to play against Thailand, but in the end we showed our power and played like a great team."
Netherlands captain: “I’m proud of my team cause we play very quickly, we practiced a lot in Holland but it was still difficult when you have an enemy in front of you. In the beginning it was a little bit difficult for us, but we stayed calm and in the end we dominated.”
Thailand's captain Pornpun Guedpard: “We are happy to play against such strong teams as Russia (on Tuesday) and the Netherlands, we learned a lot of things from this two matches and we are happy about our game.”
Thailand coach Kiattapong Radchatagriengkai: “We are lucky to have the opportunity to play against strong teams, we have a very young team and we can learn a lot from this matches. We will continue to do our best in the next matches.”
