Japan coach Manabe Masayoshi: Japan secured a 3-0 win against Cuba. It was very important and we are going the same way the next game as well. No matches tomorrow. We are going to rest, regain strength and keep focusing on Saturday's match.
 
Japan captain Saori Kimura: Winning today has meant a lot. Such a result is very important. Our main target is the gold medal and we are trying our utmost in order to get to it.
