Bari, Italy, October 5, 2014 – After leaving the 2014 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship with a consolation victory over Dominican Republic, Japan coach Manabe Masayoshi has put his eyes on the team's future.
Japan coach Manabe Masayoshi: We could have played better but there are matches in which you may lose focus. We will try to do better. Thinking about the future, we will try to analyze the matches and change the strategy.
Japan captain Kimura Saori: It's disappointing, but we will try to make use of this experience for our future.
Dominican coach Marcos Kwiek: It isn't easy to play against a new team, but what it really matters is that we have always played at our utmost.
Dominican captain Bethania De La Cruz: We did need a little recovering because the most important matches will be in Milan for the Final Six next week.
