Dominican Republic head coach Marcos Kwiek celebrates.

Bari, Italy, October 1, 2014 - "It is written that we have to play five sets," said Dominican Republic coach Marcos Kwiek after his team claimed a fourth full set victory at the 2014 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship by holding off Belgium 3-2 Wednesday afternoon.

Dominican Republic coach Marcos Kwiek: I am very glad for this victory. I think that it is written in the history that we have to play five sets. The team is very united. We knew that it would be difficult but we have in our mentality to fight every point.

Dominican Republic captain Bethania De La Cruz De Pena: Good evening everybody. It was a difficult match, above all in the beginning. Sometimes, we lost concentration and made a lot of mistakes. Surely, this result is a very good result and we are happy for this.

Belgium coach Gerte Vand Broek: First of all, I want to congratulate Dominican Republic for this victory. It gives the sensation to be a great game. We were very nervous and I think that this influenced the match. At the beginning we made many errors, but after some errors of our opponents, we began to recover in the third set.

Belgium captain Charlotte Leys: Congratulations to Dominican Republic. I think we have to be proud because we have earned one point. We have some difficulties at the beginning in defense and in blocks. Nevertheless, I am very glad since we played very well.
