FIPAV President Carlo Magri and FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F° meet Graziano Delrio, State Secretary to the Italian Prime Minister and Secretary of the Council of Ministers with responsibility for Territorial Cohesion Policy and Sport

Rome, Italy, September 23, 2014 - On the first day of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship Italy 2014, Dr. Carlo Magri, President of the Italian Federation, and FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F° met Graziano Delrio, State Secretary to the Italian Prime Minister and Secretary of the Council of Ministers with responsibility for Territorial Cohesion Policy and Sport.

Presidents Magri and Graça, who were received at the Palazzo Chigi, presented the FIVB Women’s World Championship, which begins today and runs until the final in Milan on October 12. During the meeting, the importance of hosting such an important event was stressed. The competition will involve thousands of spectators in six cities (Rome, Bari, Milan, Verona, Trieste and Modena), and will host the 24 strongest teams on the planet.
