Bari, Italy, September 21, 2014 – The national team of China arrived in Bari on Friday ahead of the start of their campaign in Pool D of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship Italy 2014.
Of the six teams taking part in Bari – the others being Azerbaijan, Belgium, Cuba, Japan and Puerto Rico – China are the first to travel to the province’s capital of Apulia. After a first training session, the Chinese players and their coach Jenny Lang Ping enjoyed some down time to visit Fiera del Levante, an international exhibition which attracts thousands of visitors from all over Italy and foreigners each year.
The Chinese players visited many stands, as well as the Chinese pavilion at the “nations’ gallery”. After taking photos and selfies, they also visited the exhibition which has been organised specifically for the FIVB Women’s World Championship, taking their first group picture of their campaign at the tournament.
