Bari, Italy, September 21, 2014 - China head coach Jenny Lang Ping said she loved Italy a lot here at the pre-tournament press conference Monday afternoon with the pool D play of the 2014 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship to kick off Tuesday morning.
Azerbaijan coach Aleksandr Chervyakov: We hope we will offer a great show to all spectators during the matches.
Belgium coach Gert Vande Broek: It's great to be here in Italy because Belgium qualified for the women's World Championships for the first time in 36 years. China and Japan are the favorites in this group. We will play hard and hopefully we can qualify for the second round and stay in contention as long as possible.
China coach Lang Ping: I am very happy to be here for the World Championships. I have coached in Italy for a few years and I love Italy a lot. We want to play well in this tournament and it's also important for the young players to get some good experience. Hopefully we can have consistence and play at a high level and stay in the tournament as long as we can.
Japan coach Manabe Masayoshi: It's hard to guess who can be the winner of the group. We'll just do the best we can.
Puerto Rico coach Jose Mieles: It will be a tough tournament because all the strong teams are here at the World Championships. We will just try our best.
