Turkey coach Massimo Barbolini: We played a good game. It is the first win here and we want to continue in this way. After the first points of the first set, we understood it would be quite easy. Today’s game was a good situation to test our real strength. We experienced no low attention moments and played concentrated.
Turkish captain Sonsirma Gozde: We are very glad and satisfied with today’s win and the three important points. We played well.
Canadian coach Arnd Ludwig: Turkey beat us on serves and attacks. They knew well our problematic zones in service reception. It was though. We tried to manage the game but they put a lot of pressure on us. The first part of the first set was our best moment but in the end, we could not do much.
Canadian captain Page Britteny: The Italian supporters from the local schools were amazing. They helped us a lot. We didn’t play at our best. On the third set we had more confidence and faith but it wasn’t enough.
