Margareta Kozuch was considered early as one of the greatest German talents. She already was successful when she was still very young (best female athlete in her home-city Hamburg in 2005) und started playing for the National team in 2005. The pretty wing spiker was the best scorer at the European Championship 2009 in Poland and received also a personal award two years later when she was the best spiker at the Continentals in Serbia. 2013 Kozuch was the leader of a German Team which won the silver medal at the European Championship in Germany and Switzerland.

With her powerful way of playing as well as her beauty and her smiling face she all the time is predestinated to be a star in the Volleyball World. So “Maggi” is the German face of the FIVB hero campaign. In her young life the 1,88 meter tall German captain already played for clubs in five countries: Hamburg (GER), Sassuolo, Novara and Busto Arsizio (ITA), Odintsovo (RUS), Sopot (POL) and Baku (AZE). In 2014 Kozuch will add the sixth country after the World Championship in Italy in her career and signed a contract in Shanghai (CHN).
