Xu Yunli (196cm) is the tallest player in China team. She came from Fujian province, a place with long volleyball tradition. She became a volleyball player when only 10 years old because her height reached 175cm then.
Xu entered the National team of China in 2005, and was one of the first six line-ups in 2006 FIVB World Championship. She also participated in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2012 London Olympics. Xu is good at blocking and attacking, her block height is 310cm and spike height is 320cm. As an experienced player,she hopes to will lead the team to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
